1. General Information

By booking or attending any Yoga Balance class, session, or programme, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all Yoga Balance offerings, including group classes, workplace sessions, team sessions, professional athlete programmes, and 1-1 private sessions.

Yoga Balance & Shaun Thomas reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be available on our website and apply from the date of publication.

2. Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be made in advance via the Yoga Balance website, email, or through direct arrangement with your instructor.

Payment is to be made via bank transfer to the account details provided at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed.

Full payment is required before the start of each session or block of sessions.

For block bookings, team sessions, or workplace programmes, a deposit or full payment upfront may be requested to confirm your slot.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled class or session. Cancellations made after this time, or non-attendance, may result in the session being charged in full.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds will only be issued if a session is cancelled by Yoga Balance, or in exceptional circumstances at the instructor’s discretion.

Workplace, sports team, and professional bookings are subject to agreed contract terms.

If an instructor is unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a substitute teacher may be provided or the session will be rescheduled.

4. Health & Safety

Participants must inform the instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or health concerns prior to each session.

Always work within your own limits and listen to your body.

If you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort at any point, stop immediately and inform the instructor.

Yoga Balance instructors are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose or treat medical conditions.

5. Injury Disclaimer

By participating in any Yoga Balance class or session, you acknowledge that yoga involves physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury.
You accept full responsibility for your health and wellbeing during participation and agree that Yoga Balance, its instructors, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained as a result of your participation. You confirm that you have no known medical conditions that would make yoga unsafe for you, or that you have been cleared to participate by a medical professional.

6. Workplace, Team & Professional Athlete Sessions

These sessions are tailored to the goals and requirements of each group or individual.

A pre-session consultation may be required to assess needs, performance goals, and health considerations.

Employers, coaches, or team representatives are responsible for ensuring all participants are aware of these Terms & Conditions and have consented to participate.

Professional athletes should consult with their medical or performance team before beginning a new programme.

7. Personal Belongings
​
Yoga Balance is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings during classes or events.

8. Photography & Media
​
Occasionally, photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes. Participants will always be informed beforehand and may opt out if preferred.

9. Data Protection
​
Your personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR laws. Information is collected solely for class administration, communication, and safety purposes, and will never be shared without consent.

10. Governing Law
​
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
